What are the advantages of a motorsport camera over camcorder?
There are several advantages to using our camera systems over a standard camcorder.
Firstly, our cameras are all solid state devices meaning they have no moving parts. All are designed specifically for this exact purpose - put simply they are tough, robust, water resistant and designed for the track. Camcorders generally would simply not stand up to the abuse required for the track and most are not solid state and therefore are susceptible to hard vibrations, bumps and knocks which will eventually could cause most camcorders to fail.
All our cameras are ultra compact and come with purpose designed mounts (roll cage/suction etc). Many track scrutineers do not like the camcorders in the inside of a vehicle, due to the danger they could present during a collision.
I've a track day car and want to fit a system, what would you recommend?
Our current favourite is the Smartycam - as it provides excellent quality footage combined with GPS transparent overlays, and we truly believe nothing comes close at this price. The kit comes with full instructions and is very straight forward to setup.
Are your cameras water resistant?
Yes, all our cameras are water resistant and will withstand heavy showers, however we don't recommend that they are submerged in water.
Are your products suitable for rally cars?
Yes, we have many systems installed in rally cars at present, with great results.
I understand your cameras are battery powered, can I also connect them to my cars power system?
No need, all use long lasting rechargeable Lithiam Ion batterys, so charge and race
How do I watch the footage once I've recorded?
There are 4 ways to do this, firstly if its a Smartycam then it has a small colour screen on which you can watch any recorded media. Secondly, you can connect any of our media recorders direct to your TV (via composite input), thirdly simply eject the memory card on which they record and insert into your PCs card reading slot (if your PC has one), finally all media recorders can be connected to your PC via USB. Video footage can be then viewed on your PC or edited using most media programs.
Do you offer a warranty on your products?
Yes, all products are covered by a 12month warranty against manufacturing or material defects. If your product develops a fault we will replace / repair at our discretion.

Yes, we can certainly work you out a package price, please contact us for details.
Do you have your products in stock / how long is delivery?
We hold everything in stock, so delivery is usually next working day on most orders.
